Tokyo, Japan

Year 2017 -My dream vacation is to travel to South Korea or Japan with my two sisters. Not because of its historical stories and events but because I am one of those who’s gone crazy in love with  K-pop Idol’s, K-drama and Anime’s. Since it is expensive to travel both countries in a year we’ve decided to vote if which country should we visit first.

JAPAN 🙂

First to visit – Tokyo, Japan.

Tokyo, the capital city of Japan. Japan’s busy capital, mixes the ultramodern and the traditional, from neon-lit skyscrapers to historic temples. The opulent Meiji Shinto Shrine is known for its towering gate and surrounding woods. The Imperial Palace sits amid large public gardens. The city’s many museums offer exhibits ranging from classical art  to a reconstructed kabuki theater.  Ranked first in the “Best overall experience” category of TripAdvisors World City Survey (also ranked first in the following categories: “helpfulness of locals”, “nightlife”, “shopping”, “local public transportation” and “cleanliness of streets”).

Yes Indeed! Locals are very helpful despite of the language barrier.  City is alive at night. Local public transportation is everywhere. Oh and of course my fave transpo “the bullet train”!

Okay enough with the dramas! Here’s my trip to Tokyo, Japan! 🙂

Just see it yourself when you go there, too many pictures to post. :))))

Sensō-ji Shrine

An ancient Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo, Japan. It is Tokyo’s oldest temple, and one of its most significant.

I didn’t get a chance to take a photo because there was a lot of tourists inside and outside the temple. It was very crowded but a must stop for Tokyo. Very historical. Some of the locals were wearing kimono. Kimono for rent were available outside the temple. A great place for everything I must say. From souvenirs to tasty foods. Tons of street foods (plus beer hehe) and sweets outside the temple. For 500 yen you can buy souvenirs and food.

You have to fall in line on this one but it’s worth it. 🙂

I was amazed and I enjoyed the large forested parks. The trees that are hundred years of age. The place, the area was well – maintained. Very peaceful and beautiful.

In front of the shrine there is a water basin provided where you have to perform Temizu, a hand washing custom before going into the shrine. You have to wash your mouth and hands before entering Meiji JingoShrine.

No words can explain how blessed and happy I am that I was able to witness Gods creation. The place was wonderful and amazing. The temples, the trees, and the people they are amazing. Especially the food. The food are massive and tasty.

I was shocked at first when I saw all the teenagers/young adults wearing dresses like sailor moon. I thought it was a cosplay but I was wrong. They usually dress themselves like an anime. The boys looks like the character of the “Samurai X” or “One Piece” only the sword was missing. :)))) I know sounds funny and weird but to be honest they look cool! There is no such thing as “being off-fashion” in Tokyo. You can wear whatever you want. They don’t mind ‘coz it’s a fashion to them as long as you carry it with confident. 😉

I really want to share all the photos that I have in my mobile and camera but I was having a hard time to upload it. It keep crashing maybe because the file was too big. That’s why some of the photos here are taken with my iPhone 6 only. I hope you enjoy reading my trip story ( well.. I hope there is someone who will bother to read this. haha):))))) But thanks anyway! 🙂

Below pic was our last day in Tokyo. Akihabara – the last place we visit. The owner of the restaurant kindly offered to take a photo for us.
